Just three more things to do and we can say welcome home.

Schedule a Closing
It’s time to schedule the closing. You can expect a call from the title company to coordinate. We will bring all the paperwork to the table and we will keep you informed of anything you may need to bring with you. As always, check your email as we will be communicating with you there.

ONE LAST LOOK.
Final Walk Through
The dust has settled. You are in the home stretch.
It’s now time to use a critical eye and take one last look at your new home. This is the time that you want to make sure the property is in the agreed upon condition. Any repairs that were requested, have been made. No new issues are now showing themselves. Once you pass this stage and sign the paperwork, the process will be final, so now is the time to speak up if the home is not as you expected.
A LITTLE MORE HOMEWORK
Prepare Funds
This is your last piece of homework prior to closing on your new home. You will likely need to schedule an appointment with your bank depending on the amount of funds needed at closing. State law requires funds due on a real estate transaction to be paid in a combination of 1 – 3 ways. A personal check is only permitted on amounts up to $1000. Funds between 1000-10000 will require a certified bank check payable to the title company. Amounts more than 10,000 must be paid in the form of a wire transfer to the title company. Cash is NOT accepted at closing.
LET THE MEMORIES BEGIN
Closing
This is the day you have been waiting for. All parties will meet at the title agency to sign the closing documents. We will let you know about anything you may need to bring with you on that day. This is the easy part. You may receive the keys today, or at a later date, depending on what you agreed upon with the sellers.
